Business Law Associate Lawyer

Our Halifax office is currently seeking an Associate Lawyer to support our Business Law practice group.

• Service clients in a wide range of business law related matters, review and negotiate commercial and transactional contracts including commercial leases, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, financing agreements, etc.
• Advise on corporate and commercial legal aspects of and implement business and tax strategies in the context of corporate reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Advise on a variety of business law matters.

• Three + years of relevant work experience;
• Strong research and writing skills and demonstrated ability to navigate complex business issues;
• Self-motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively;
• Proven effective client and practice management skills;
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and
• Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset.
