The Role

As an Intermediate Civil Litigator, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a diverse and challenging caseload of civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on complex legal and financial family law cases.
  • Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery documents that drive impactful results.
  • Conduct thorough discoveries or questioning and negotiate settlements with strategic insight.
  • Represent clients in court for hearings, motions, and trials, showcasing your exceptional advocacy skills.
  • Collaborate closely with senior counsel and clients to develop innovative litigation strategies that achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Contribute to dynamic business development initiatives that enhance our firm's reputation and growth.

 Qualifications


We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Law Degree (LLB) from a recognized law school
  • Call to the Ontario Bar (Lawyer Licensed to Practice in Ontario)
  • 3-7 years of robust civil litigation experience.
  • Outstanding written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • A self-motivated mindset with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
