The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Legal counsel. This job is full-time permanent.
Reporting into the Vice-President, Legal Affairs - Pulp & Tissue, you will assist all business units of Domtar with respect to real estate matters in Canada and the US, including assisting with the preparation of business cases for the approval of land sales. You will also provide support for cost management and budgeting of real estate projects. You will support in-house attorneys on real estate matters for three business units, assist with real estate issues in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and engage with internal and external stakeholders in Canada and the US.
